The snare drum is one of the most fundamental percussion instruments in music -- used in concert band, marching band, jazz, rock, and every style in between. The distinctive snare sound comes from the metal wires (snares) stretched across the bottom head that vibrate when the drum is struck.
Available in standard concert snare sizes (13" and 14" diameter) and deeper marching snare configurations. Student models designed for school band programs. Drum heads, sticks, and practice pads also available.
